What is the difference between a Stjernsund table and other tables?
We offer flexibility in the form of foldable arm rests and an infinitely adjustable head rest, among other things. The height of the tables can be easily adjusted with just a few simple manipulations, without having to release any screws or similar. Only two handles are needed to assemble and dismantle the table. Every table is also made to the customer's order. This is no factory-made assembly line product.
So every table is made especially for me as customer?
Yes and every table gets a serial number and is signed by the person who made it. We carefully check the product before it leaves us.
Do you manufacture the products?
Yes, we are responsible for both design and manufacture. Everything is done here in Hofors, where both the workshop and the office are located.
Why do some of your products weigh more than the competitors'?
Stability and quality weigh more. Our accessories (arm rests and head rests) fit inside the foldable tables and this increases the weight, of course. Wood is also a relatively heavy material, but with our 11 - 19 kg, we are far from the heaviest on the market.
How much pressure/weight can the tables cope with?
In theory three tons, with even pressure distributed over the four corners. But during massage, where external pressure is added from the side, the tables cope with at least 1500 kg.
Do you renovate old tables and chairs?
Yes, we do. We offer various service packages at different price levels.
