Leatherette for recovering Primo 83 cm table

With these sewn leatherette covers, you can re-upholster your Primo table yourself.
Dismantle the table by loosening the cords that cross under the table. You can find a description on a label under your table.

Then fold in the legs and the central arch. Separate the table into two halves by unscrewing the central hinges. Mark carefully where they fit. You must also remove the handle on the table. It is attached with four small nails and stables, which you loosen carefully.

The edge hinges (which you use for folding the table) and the plastic feet on the side of the table must also be removed.

Loosen the staples and take off the old leatherette. Then staple on the new leatherette. Use a stapler and relatively coarse staples. Then assemble the table again.

The cover/leatherette on our products is a man-made material consisting of 70% cotton cloth and 30% polyester. The surface layer of polyester is coated with polyurethane. The material "breathes" and feels soft and comfortable. It is fire retardant and passes cigarette test BS5822 Part1.

Important to remember about the leatherette:

• All liquids, such as perspiration, oil and even water, must be wiped off immediately. Polyurethane let liquids through, which can gather between the cotton cloth and the surface layer, with the result that the materials separate.
• Always wipe with a slightly dampened cloth.
• Never use strong detergents. Only use a mild soap solution (80% water and 20% mild soap).
• Never use the table, cushions or seat in a damp condition.
